Strengthening Arts & Humanities Across the Coulee Region

WHAT IS THE UNITED FUND FOR THE ARTS AND HUMANITIES?
About Us
Located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and founded in 1983, the United Fund for the Arts and Humanities (UFAH) strengthens a network of nonprofit arts and humanities organizations serving the Coulee Region. Through collaborative fundraising and shared community support, UFAH helps sustain educational opportunities, performances, exhibitions, historical preservation, and cultural experiences that enrich community life throughout the region.
By investing in arts and humanities organizations, UFAH helps foster creativity, preserve cultural heritage, strengthen community connections, and contribute to the region's social and economic vitality.

Ticket sales, memberships, program fees, and other earned revenue provide only a portion of the resources needed to sustain high-quality arts and humanities programming. Contributions made through UFAH help provide a stable source of support, enabling Member organizations to continue serving the community through education, performance, preservation, and public engagement.

Our Mission
Engage the community by supporting the arts and humanities through collaborative fundraising.
Our Vision
Foster a diverse and vibrant arts and humanities ecosystem.
UFAH originated in 1983 as a partnership between the business and arts communities to increase funds for the arts and decrease paperwork for both the giver and beneficiary.
